When people are forced to flee their homes, we need to create open and friendly communities for them to live in.

With your gift, you will receive a blank 'Create welcoming communities for refugees' greetings card that can be sent to a recipient of your choice. Your donation will be used to enable vital human rights work in the UK and around the world - wherever it's needed most.

Across the UK, we work with communities and refugees to create places where refugees feel safe and welcome. This plays an important role in helping to settle into a new community, make friends, learn the language, and get to know the local area.

Whilst work in each community looks different, typical activities might include:

• Setting up 'community alliances' with other local organisations, including refugee groups
• Bringing the different parts of the community together through sport events
• Creating opportunities for people to learn a new language and make friends

When you buy a virtual gift, the money is used where it is needed most at the time, which could include creating welcoming communities for refugees.

Your donation will go to Amnesty International UK Section Charitable Trust, a charity registered in England and Wales (no 1051681) and in Scotland (no SCO39534) and a registered company (no 03139939). The Trust funds our UK and global activities to promote human rights. Funds raised for the Trust may only be spent on human rights work that the Charity Commission regards as charitable under UK law.

  Delivered via Evri courier. UK orders will normally be received within 5 working days. Choose this option if you're not in a hurry to receive your order and we'll use the most efficient delivery method possible.
• Express Delivery - £7.95 (Only available for UK delivery)
  Delivered via DPD courier, requires a signature upon delivery. Delivery next working day for orders placed before 2pm (Mon-Fri).
