The two shades of turquoise in this shaped and polished Tagua look fantastic together. The tagua nut is a dried seed that comes from the tagua palm tree which grows in tropical rain forests of South America. The nut is also known as natural ivory or vegetable ivory because it is hard, strong and beautiful. Nuts are sun-dried for 4 to 6 months before they can be worked on. Once dried they can be carved and polished. Their natural colour is white but they can be easily dyed and take beauiful colours easily.
